Hello Folks. I hope you had a good weekend and all of you fathers, a good Fathers day. I know I did.
The point today is a reset. Start over from a point, not the beginning. Last week was hard for me to balance for some reason. The kids are home from school for the summer, yardwork needs to be done house needs to be cleaned. Somewhere I didn’t get much writing done. I did start playing with podcasts, and worked a ton getting our quilting business site up and running.

Hello folks! Today I am going to review a fabulous book that I had the opportunity to pre-read for clarity. (ie I got a free copy to read through and evaluate. assume all links are affiliate links.). Hello there! Today I wanted to write about a great little site that I go t introduced to by Aaron Pogue over at Unstressed Syllables.
If you are a writer and haven’t checked out Aaron’s stuff, do it. He is very talented at teaching writing, which is good seeings as how he teaches writing on the college level too. He also has an incredibly easy to use ebook out about how to write an ebook! It is called How To Build An Ebook (affiliate link). Check it out, you will be impressed. Wow, Wednesday was not good for writing. I just couldn’t get any ideas to do anything but sit there. I guess I could say it was writers block, I could say I am just overwhelmed with stuff to do. Or I can man up and say it was hard to write today.

I started my blog earlier this year as a way to kick start my writing career. That has evolved a bit, but the main purpose is still writing. Because of my writing, my daughter has shown some interest.
She was bored on a Sunday because we wont let them watch TV and asked me what to do. I told her to write a story. She played shy and was pretending that she couldn’t think of what to write about so I went back to some of my old lessons from elementary school about creative writing.
From that she has started a story and has had some ideas about others that she wants to write. From these lessons, I have had to up my writing. I have had to start thinking more about story structure and how to put scenes together. I have always been a seat of the pants writer so this is

Man has it been an exciting day in Blogistan! For some reason, my blog blew up today! For the past few months I have been hoping every day to beat 72 visitors. That was the most people that visited my site according to the Count Per Day plugin. I have been running that one since I started. StatPress always shows a few more but it isn’t as pretty.
So I have been getting in the 60′s most of the time. Today, I had 93 visitors when I checked 20 minutes after my latest post. And it has just gone higher and higher. At the time I wrote this, 2130 MDT (GMT-7), there were 218 visitors and almost 1100 pageviews! That is TRIPLE what I have been getting. I can only hope that this blog is catching on and this will be normal!
Sorry to brag like that but holy crap I am excited!
